First, check out the
back. Something wierd? A few things, but most
fundemental, the neck is off-center (so that the strings and bridge
will be centered).
East Indian Rosewood. The neck is spanish cedar.
The basic scale length is 620mm, which is quite short. The body
is shortened to match. The lower bout is smaller as an
accomodation to this string length. The upper bout shape is
similar to my normal shape.
Also, note the endpin jack. The guitar is
equipped with a K&K sound system.

The Head.
This took a while to design. Design goals include light weight,
compact but not too compact, longer strings for strings 9, 10, and 11.
We used Pegheds 9mm pegs, with 1:4 ratio. I am very pleased
with how they function.
The Pegheds are very positive. There is no play in their
mechanism. This compact design would not be possible using
conventional guitar tuners.
The "head bridge" is fashioned out of Brazilian Rosewood.
The extended strings are where additional frets would be, to keep
string tension pretty consistent.

The face of the
instrument.
Notice that the bridge and strings are centered on the soundboard.
The scale length of the, the body size, and string spacing are all
compact. It is a good thing that Jacek plays with precision
and grace.
The string spacing is modelled after a guitar built for James Kline by
Gary Southwell. (One of my favorite guitar building
personalities.)
The rosette.
The central part is made of redwood burl. Surrounding lines
constructed of poplar, ebony, and bloodwood.
